Jewish Domestic Abuse Task Force of Pittsburgh
Contact: Rochelle Sufrin
The Jewish Domestic Abuse Task Force, made up of more than two dozen community organizations, agencies, rabbis, educators, clinicians and individuals, is working to provide prevention education of domestic abuse in our community's homes, schools and congregational life. Whether abuse is occurring between partner/spouse, caretaker/patient, clergy/congregant, teacher/student, parent/child or boyfriend/girlfriend, the JDATF provides outreach education to educators, clergy and the general public (adults, teens and young adults) to increase awareness of the causes and consequences of domestic abuse, information on ways to avoid and cope as well as reliable community resources for support.
