  • Information
Kollel Jewish Learning Center is an institute of Jewish learning. The Kollel’s main objectives are (i) to provide an opportunity for personal growth in Torah learning. (ii) to encourage and facilitate the study of Torah for all segments of the Greater Pittsburgh Jewish Community, particularly adult study; and (iii) to serve as a community Jewish Learning Center around which all Jews within the community can unite. In particular, the Kollel provides training to its post-graduate fellows to become rabbis, elementary, high school and college level teachers, Jewish administrators, authors and adult education specialists. In addition to their study at the Kollel Jewish Learning Center, the community scholars devote time to the community teaching classes and study groups, informal discussions and public lectures, all designed to make Jewish learning and heritage available to every Jew, regardless of background or affiliation.
