Marcellus Shale Open House Rated as “Good” or “Excellent” by More than 85% of Attendees

The November 20th Marcellus Shale Open House, the product of several months of work by our Committee’s Marcellus Shale Task Force, was a resounding success, as measured by our exit interviews with attendees.

We owe a huge debt of gratitude to our Chair, Richard Feder, who not only conceived of the Open House but worked tirelessly over a  period of months to ensure its success.

Thanks are also due to Committee Members Joe Jolson, Michael Loomis, Joy Braunstein, Adrienne Indianer, Bernie Goldstein, Nancy Bernstein, Scott Tobe, Rabbi Tuchman and Zelda Curtiss for their efforts.

Green Bar/Bat Mitzvah
Are you planning a Bar or Bat Mitzvah and want to do it in an environmentally friendly way?  The Environmental Committee has researched ways to plan Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebrations, and gathered case studies for our online guide.  You'll find it by clicking here. Have you or are you about to plan an event with an eye toward the environment?  We can help. To have someone contact you about greening your event, contact Gregg Roman at 412.992.5234 or groman@jfedpgh.org.
