Bari recently joined The New York Times, where she works as an op-ed editor and writer. She was previously an associate book review editor at The Wall Street Journal, where she also spent four years as an op-ed editor. During her time at the Journal, she regularly wrote op-eds and profiles in addition to her editing work. Bari has also been a senior editor at Tablet, the daily online magazine of Jewish news, politics, and culture, where she edited the site's political and news coverage. She is a 2007 graduate of Columbia University, where she majored in history, and a proud Pittsburgh native.
